Nuclear Power Plant Game
Date

Link to Game Project
This project was created for one of my second year University modules that focuses on optimizing sprints within the games industry. For this the module was split up into weeks, creating various sprints we had to plan out using Trello boards to improve our time management.
This whole project was created within 3 weeks, and was built using the prompt of "Simulating the Mundane". So I attempted to simulate a person going to their job at a nuclear power station and control the power output without exploding the plant. The core of the game is built around a scaling difficulty system so the game continues to get harder as the game goes on.
The main inspiration for this game is 'Homer Simpson', because he could always make the job itself really mundane, allowing him to slack off a lot when you see him there. A lot of the styling is inspired by games like 'Please Don't Touch Anything' and 'Papers Please' with a workstation that takes up the majority of the screen, with a small section for keeping updated on the game, mainly just a small screen.
